Most of the views in UED only show the same as the textured view, why?
I thought this was just me but it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. It seems that when you are using Direct3D view none of the BSP Cuts, Zoe/Portal views etc. work, you have to go into software mode for some reason. To do this simply right-click on the grey bar directly above the view window (the one with the buttons that change your view) and select 'Software', this should now let you use the other views properly. Personally, though, I prefer to view the level in textured D3D mode the majority of the time since it's less ugly but you can easily swap between the two. It's also good to be aware that staying in D3D view mode while you run TUT to test your map will almost certainly crash one or other program (or your system) - only relevant, of course, if your game runs in D3D mode. |
